Biography: Pupil of G. De Sanctis, he soon devoted himself to painting of historical and literary subjects (Juliet and Romeo, exhibited in Rome in 1885). ... He took part in the exhibitions in Rome in 1883 (After the storm), in Antwerp in 1885 and in St. Petersburg in 1902 (The tale of the old sailor).
