Oil painting on canvas by Federico Andreotti depicting an animated scene of characters with elegant costumes in the interior of a sumptuous aristocratic palace listening to a piano concert. Title of the work "Musical Concertino". Measurements: 61x85 cm Signed lower left.


In 1861 he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence under the guidance of Enrico Pollastrini and Stefano Ussi. He devoted himself to oil, watercolors but also frescoes, painting landscapes, portraits, female figures, genre scenes, historical scenes and still lifes with historical scenarios especially from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. In his works he blended a certain technical precision on Impressionist territories. As an illustrator he worked for Renato Fucini illustrating the story Sweet memories in Neri's Veglie (ed. 1890) [1].
